Hi, I'm Tatum, founder of Gamila Rugs.

In 2020, Gamila Rugs started from a simple idea: finding the right rug shouldn't feel overwhelming or out of reach. I wanted to create a place where beautiful, high-quality rugs were accessible, where customers felt looked after, and where shopping online still felt personal.

Before starting Gamila Rugs, I was a teacher. While my career has changed, so much of what I loved about teaching has stayed with me. I still love helping people, answering questions, and giving them the confidence to make the right choice. I'm also a mum, so I understand that homes aren't showrooms, they're lived in. They're where kids play, friends gather, pets nap in the sun, and life happens. The right rug has to look beautiful, but it also has to work for real life.
