Delivery Process
Call Prior to Delivery
While our courier company does not guarantee a call before delivery, we will provide tracking emails to keep you updated. If no one is available to receive the delivery, a calling card, text, or email will be sent to arrange one free re-delivery.
Shipping Time Frames
We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of placement, and tracking details will be provided shortly after. The estimated delivery time frames are as follows:

Transit times are estimates and exclude the day of pickup. Responsibility for the consignment transfers to the recipient upon delivery.
Delivery Date & Time
If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we offer one free re-delivery to the original shipping address. The recipient can request a specific business day for re-delivery.
Consignment in Transit
Cancellation and Return to Sender
If you wish to cancel an order after it has been dispatched, a return to sender fee and a 20% restocking fee will apply. An investigation will be conducted before further action is taken.
Address and Authority to Leave
Business Address and Authority to Leave
For easier delivery, we recommend providing a business address. You can also authorize the courier to leave the rug without a signature (Authority to Leave). Simply specify this request in the order notes during checkout.
Please note that once the item is delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for it, particularly if "Authority to Leave" has been given.
Change of Address
Requests for address changes can be made if the order has not yet been processed. A re-direction fee will apply, and this will be the customer's responsibility.
Incorrect Address
If an incorrect address is provided and the delivery fails, the customer will be responsible for any additional fees incurred due to the failed delivery.
Cancelling Orders
Cancellation Prior to Dispatch
If you wish to cancel your order before it is dispatched, a 3% transaction cancellation fee will apply. Additional merchant fees may also apply for transactions made through Afterpay or Zip Pay.
Delivery Failure
Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery fails, the courier may leave a card or send a text/email to arrange re-delivery. After two unsuccessful attempts, Gamila Rugs reserves the right to cancel the order, with any relevant fees being deducted from the refund.
Issues with Delivery
Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for any freight costs related to pickup or replacement in the event of specific issues, such as insufficient contact information, customer error, authority to leave, or incorrect item orders.
