Persian Tabriz
Stock No: PE-142-001329
Size(m): 0.90×0.61
This carpet is made from wool in the city of Tabriz. It measures 0.9 by 0.61 centimetres. It depicts a most beautiful woman that has a homely, motherly look to her, although she appears very young. She is holding a water jug or pitcher on her right shoulder with both her hands. One hand over her head, holding the top of the pottery, and the other, her right hand, holding it from the bottom. The pottery itself is a focal point. It's made out of clay and it's blue in colour. That blue appears also at the very bottom of her skirt and in one of the bands around her blouse. The depiction is one of extraordinary beauty and there is a remarkable aspect to the woman in that her eyes are maintaining a very soft but loving look at the viewer. The background to the painting is a construction that looks as if it could be a house. We're seeing the side of it and there's no window. We don't see a great deal of the construction, but it is a nice off-white colour. There are trees to the left and to the right of the woman who takes up the large portion of the picture. There are also flowers in the garden. This is a most beautiful depiction of a lovely young woman.

For a classic living layout, place the rug in the centre of the room and place the front legs of your sofa and armchairs on the rug. This will help create a better aesthetic and cleaner appearance.
For those who don’t want a large rug but still want a warm underfoot when getting out of bed, we recommend a round or runner rug to place at either side of the bed.
For high traffic, spill-risk areas like the dining area, we recommend a low-pile rug and easy-to-clean material like polypropylene for a rug.
