Persian Nain Supreme 4 Meter Long Runner - BLACK

Stock No: SYN-120-000329

Size(m): 4.07×0.83

This is an extraordinarily beautiful handmade rug from the city of Nain. It is made by superfine wool, which allows for high knot density, which provides clarity. The clarity that you get from high knot density is a bit like the pixel on a television screen. The greater the pixel quality, the higher the definition. This is exactly the same with the knot count.

In this carpet, we see the repetition down the center of the field of the carpet of four diamonds, one on top of the other.

In the middle of each of these graphics is a circle, and the heart of the circle is a small dot. That dot expands out very much like if you drop a pebble in a pond, you get bands or waves of ripples moving outwards, and that's what's happened here.

The carpet is a magnificent example of the very best that one could hope to get from the city of Nain, which is reputed to produce some of the most wonderful carpets in the world.

The outer periphery of the runner contains a band of color that has a base color of a sort of yellow-like tan, upon which then are beautiful floral motifs connected by a vine.

The impression of this carpet is one of complete beauty, there's unity, and there's harmony. The balance and juxtaposition of motifs with colors is done by an expert, quite representative of the work of a genius. It is the most beautiful carpet that would look superb in any hallway where a statement of complete luxury and beauty is required.

Here are some potential uses for a rug that's 4.07 by 0.83 meters:

1. Hallway Runner: As initially described, this rug is ideal as a hallway runner due to its long length and narrow width. It can add elegance and warmth to a hallway while protecting the flooring.

2. Entryway Accent: Place the rug in the entryway of a home or office to create a welcoming focal point. Its intricate design and luxurious quality can set the tone for the entire space.

3. Underneath Furniture: While the width might not accommodate a dining table, the length of the rug makes it suitable for placing underneath a bench, console table, or smaller furniture piece to add visual interest and texture to the room.

4. Bedroom Runner: Use the rug as a decorative accent at the foot of a bed or along the side of the bed to add a touch of luxury and comfort to the bedroom decor.

5. Wall Hanging: Alternatively, consider displaying the rug as a unique wall hanging or tapestry to showcase its exquisite design and craftsmanship.

This can elevate the ambiance of any room and serve as a striking piece of art.

With its balance of colors and motifs expertly curated, this rug exudes elegance, harmony, and luxury. Perfect as a hallway runner or an accent piece in any space, it promises to elevate the ambiance and captivate admirers with its timeless beauty."

When choosing a rug for your living room, less is not more. Smaller rugs can make a space look smaller or cluttered in comparison to larger rugs which give the illusion of a more spacious room.
For a classic living layout, place the rug in the centre of the room and place the front legs of your sofa and armchairs on the rug. This will help create a better aesthetic and cleaner appearance.
A rug in the bedroom is all about a warm and comfortable underfoot, especially for those with hard flooring! For those wanting a larger rug for the room, we recommend a rectangular rug that sits right under the lower end of the bed and extends at least 50cm beyond the sides of the bed (depending on the size of your bedroom).
For those who don’t want a large rug but still want a warm underfoot when getting out of bed, we recommend a round or runner rug to place at either side of the bed.
Scale and proportion is key when placing a rug in your dining room. As a rule, you want your rug to be large enough to accommodate all the dining chairs, even when they are pulled out from the table. We recommend your rug be large enough to extend around 60-70cm beyond your table.
For high traffic, spill-risk areas like the dining area, we recommend a low-pile rug and easy-to-clean material like polypropylene for a rug.
